Angle rules

                                                                        The 180 rule

 This schematic shows the axis between two characters and the 180° arc on which cameras has this postion. When cutting from the green arc to the red arc, the characters switch places on the screen. You can this rule in a conversation scene between two important characters, a straight line can be imagined running between.

                                                          Close Up

                                                               

Close is the camera shot showing only the face of the character to show importance of the things he/she saying or feeling. Close up is very important to tell the story for the viewer.
